About me
Candi Dierenfield’s 10-year 4-H member experience began in 1983 when she joined the Worden Riverdales 4-H club in Montana. 4-H gave her the confidence and life skills to THRIVE as an adult. Candi began her Extension career at the University of Alaska, working with 4-H, specifically with the CYFAR grant program since 2004. As the 4-H State Specialized Agent, Volunteer Management and Development at the University of Florida, she supports UF/IFAS 4-H and Extension Agents across the state. She serves on the national 4-H Program Leaders Working Group Volunteer Committee representing the Southern Region. Candi has served as the 4-H Military Liaison in Alaska and Florida, with several national recognitions for collaborative efforts. Candi received a bachelor’s degree from Woodbury University. She attended Montana State University - Billings to earn a degree in information systems and communication and earned a Ph.D. in education from Northcentral University. Candi has been a CYFAR coach for five years.
